Microsoft Dynamics partners unite on aid efforts for Ukraine

Microsoft partners from around the world have connections to Ukraine, and when war broke out, they each rushed to help colleagues and friends.

A group of partner organizations focused on Microsoft Dynamics, either based in Ukraine or with offices and employees there, have now started a unified campaign to support their Ukrainian colleagues and friends. DynamicsUkraine.org aims to raise money to support the over 700 Dynamics professionals and their families in the country.

"ArganoArbela, Clarity, Enavate, Global Mediator, OntargIT and SIS are unified in our goal to serve our team members, their families, and clients in this community at this difficult time," the group explains on the new site.

Viktor Lesiv, a Dynamics veteran, VP of SIS, and a native of Ukraine, explained in a video message:

This war has changed the world upside down...The Russian army is still shooting and killing a lot of civilians and destroying Ukrainian cities. In the last two weeks, our Ukrainian employees, in addition to their Dynamics skills, Azure skills, Power Apps skills, IoT and all the other technologies, learned new skills such as how to survive under air attacks, how to hide when you're being bombed, how to escape danger, how to hide and sleep in basements, and many other skills that no people should possess and should have in this modern world. Your Dynamics colleagues and their families are not safe and require our help.

Volodymyr Svyrydenko, founder and CEO of OntargIT, lives in Seattle but has been in Ukraine during the war. In a video, he asked the community for help, saying:

This nightmare must be stopped, the future of the world depends on the courage of Ukrainians and your support.

DynamicsUkraine.org is the latest in a continued effort by Microsoft partners to encourage fundraising for Ukrainian aid. Ellipse Solutions has encouraged donations to Razom for Ukraine and Red Cross of Ukraine. Sana Commerce are raising funds for Zhytomyr Community Fund to purchase medical supplies and emergency equipment to aid in the defense of the people in Zhytomyr, a community near Kyiv that has reported heavy damage from Russian attacks, including to hospitals.

Major technology companies are making other moves related to the war. Microsoft, SAP, Accenture, Oracle, and others have both announced the suspension or closing of their Russian businesses.
