KKR, a global investing firm, announced that it will acquire Microsoft partner Ensono from Charlesbank Capital Partners and M/C Partners.

Reuters reports KKR paid about $1.7 billion for the technology services firm.

Ensono has grown over recent years and recently acquired Amido, a UK-based cloud consulting company. Ensono offers services around management, optimization, and modernization of IT systems, and was first acquired by Charlesbank and M/C in 2015.

KKR expects the transaction will close in 60 days subject to regulatory approval.
