Microsoft value-added SMB distributor QBS, a division of the IT Channel Company, announced it has become the majority shareholder in MindsUnited, a software and services firm with a focus on Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM and Power Platform.

The acquisition takes place three years after the companies began a strategic partnership that included a smaller ownership stake by QBS in MindsUnited.

QBS operates in 25 countries with over 800 Microsoft partners managing more than 40,000 customers. Their partners tend to have a strong focus on Dynamics 365 Business Central and NAV, so this deal should help those firms bring a more robust mix of Microsoft products and services to clients and prospects. For example, QBS can now more easily offer its partners MindsUnited's Cloud Partner Panel service for Dynamics 365 and Power Platform that helps partners manage, monitor, and secure solutions across their client bases. They also offer pre-built Power Apps solutions.

“Combining the strength of both companies allows QBS to help partners expand and grow beyond Business Central into business applications bringing the deep knowledge of traditional Microsoft CRM products and a core skill-set around Dynamics 365 and Power Platform to services provided.
