Barracuda launches an SD-WAN service based on Azure
Barracuda announced the launch of its CloudGen software-defined WAN, running inside Azure Virtual WAN Hubs. Intended to replace high cost network connectivity circuits, Barracuda claims this offering is the first SD-WAN to run in Azure Virtual WAN Hubs, providing dynamic traffic management.
CloudGen WAN is available to customers as a SaaS offering through Azure Marketplace.
Recent research suggests that SD-WAN technology is being used by more than half of companies that need to secure the public cloud.
