Microsoft launched a public preview of its Microsoft Cloud for Healthcare this week, presenting a package that blends existing products and services with new industry-specific capabilities and a promise of more to come.

Details about the Microsoft Cloud for Healthcare (MCfH) are incomplete as it begins its preview, but a Microsoft spokesperson confirmed a few specifics, like the fact that this is being planned as a product that customers will eventually be able to buy.

In announcing the product, Microsoft corporate vice presidents Tom McGuinness, and Gregory J. Moore MD, PhD explained that it will build on existing products and services including Microsoft Dynamics 365 Marketing, Dynamics 365 Customer Service, Azure IoT, Microsoft Healthcare Bot Service, Teams, Microsoft 365, Azure FHIR service, Power Apps, and Power BI. It will add new features as well.
