Azure pros share their latest insights on configuring point to site VPN configurations, connector actions, triggers and bindings and more.

Thomas Thornton briefed fellow Azure users on how to setup point to site VPN connections for Azure Virtual Network, which is configured using Azure Gateway. Currently, a number of different OSs support point to site including Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows Server 2012 and 2016 or Linux StrongSwan.

Thornton demonstrated how to create a VNet, a VPN gateway subnet and VPN gateway. Usually client certificates get generated with a trusted root and are validated by the VPN gateway.  Additionally, he shared PowerShell scripts to help configure the address pool.
