New Microsoft Project reaches GA, adds entry-level subscription option

The new Microsoft Project is now generally available, the company announced, and they have revealed a third subscription option to accompany the existing Pro and Premium tiers.

The new option, Project Plan 1, is, in Microsoft's words, "for teams that need the essential capabilities of managing task-oriented projects like assigning tasks and dependencies and scheduling and tracking project work using lists, boards, and timelines." It will cost $10 per user per month. Project Online Professional and Project Online Premium, now renamed to Project Plan 3 and Project Plan 5 respectively.
