Microsoft to take aim at Dynamics ISVs' AppSource, OCP woes, MVP reports

The Microsoft Business Applications group is getting serious about improving ISV game plan, with new executive support and a new approach to defining different types of add-on solutions.

A report of the plans comes from Microsoft MVP Steve Mordue on the heels of the most recent Microsoft Dynamics Partner Advisory Council (PAC) meetings. While most of the PAC meetings were under NDA, Mordue was able to reveal that corporate vice president Steven Guggenheimer "has been brought into the Business Applications group to fix the ISV business for James [Phillips]."

Guggenheimer, or Guggs, has been visible in the Dynamics space in the last year thanks to his work on the company's AI vision, which touches on the Dynamics 365 AI solutions that he helped launch.
