GPUG to host GPUG Amplify South Africa in Johannesburg
On May 21 and 22, the Microsoft Dynamics GP User Group (GPUG), will host GPUG Amplify South Africa in Johannesburg - its first-ever event outside of North America.
GPUG is working in collaboration with Microsoft partner Braintree, a Vox company, on the event. Last year, Braintree hosted Reignite GP 2017, the forerunner of this year's event.
"There's a lot of talk from the critics and the competition about how Dynamics GP isn't being developed anymore, which is not true, or that it's in maintenance mode, which is also not true," says Bob McAdam, vice president and general manager of GPUG at Dynamic Communities. "While those people love to beat up Dynamics GP, the fact is GPUG is expanding its reach in 2018 with this event."
McAdam says his job is to grow the Dynamics GP community and keep it strong.
"So, we're going to look for opportunities outside of North America because there's demand for this application in lots of places and we're going to work diligently to show the critics and the competition that we are going full steam ahead," he says.
At GPUG Amplify SA, end users and partners will be able to network and exchange knowledge with their peers, subject matter experts, and Microsoft team members on how to best maximize their use of Dynamics GP.
Each conference registrant will receive a free GPUG membership (valued at $450-$1,100) with the purchase of a conference registration.
