How to Disable Word Template as the Default Report Type in Dynamics GP

On the Boyer & Associates blog, Dan Moore discussed how to change the default Report Type on reports in Microsoft Dynamics GP. Moore wrote that he had had some questions from customers who asked how to change the Report Type option default from Template to Standard when printing.

Moore wrote that the reason Template is displayed on the window is that Word templates have been enabled for this report within Dynamics GP.

However, sometimes a user might not what to print a Word template for a specific report but rather wants the Report Type to default to Standard.

Moore advises that to accomplish this, you must first navigate to Reports > Template Configuration. From the Template Configuration Manager window, you will open an Enable all templates for all companies drop-down menu.

Workflow Email Action Request Error After Approval

On his AzureCurve blog, Ian Grieve wrote that a client who had recently upgraded to Dynamics GP 2016 got an error when he was trying to approve a purchase order via Workflow 2.0 Email Actions.
