QBS Group Expands Microsoft Dynamics SMB Business to Poland and Ireland, Affiliate Network Hits 250
Netherlands-based QBS Group has expanded its reach in the Microsoft Dynamics ecosystem by entering two new European markets, Ireland and Poland. The company has also updated its agreement with Microsoft, becoming a Cloud Solution Provider (CSP), per the new Microsoft program announced in July, and growing its network of affiliated businesses to 250.
QBS Group's presence in Ireland and Poland brings their total reach to twelve countries, and it makes them the largest Dynamics SMB distributor worldwide. The company had reached 200 affiliates in December 2014 with the acquisition of Quonext's Master VAR business.
As the company and its network has grown, their business model has remained more or less unchanged, says Nelson Tavares da Silva, the company's channel VP. But the company is continuing to add new partner services, he says, and they work with Microsoft to find ways to "continue to grow revenue of partners in the most efficient way - grow seats [and volume] by country."
Taking on a challenge in Ireland and Poland
The latest countries to which QBS Group has expanded, Ireland and Poland, will present different challenges than in countries where ERP, and the Dynamics NAV channel in particular, are more mature.
"It will be a new challenge for us, with a focus on helping existing partners and on recruitment to grow the existing NAV channel," says Tavares da Silva.
