A Beginner's Guide to Microsoft Dynamics GP 2015 R2
For users of Microsoft Dynamics GP, the first half of the year comes to a close with a brand new update. On June 1, Microsoft announced the release of Dynamics GP 2015 R2 and it brings a host of new features and abilities.
In particular, Microsoft focused extensively on "improved ease of use, faster deployment, and deeper interoperability with Microsoft Azure."

Customer Requested Features
In recent years Microsoft has gone to great lengths to listen and respond to customer feedback across all of their various products and lines. GP, and especially GP 2015, is no exception. R2 has a number of features that specifically address customer feedback and requests, such a new "all-in-one" document viewer that can trace a chain of documents through business processes managed in GP, new workflows, as well as enhancements to SmartList Designer.
This is very good news for long-term Dynamics customers, demonstrating Microsoft's commitment to improving GP. For new users, it's an immediate reassurance that their investment was well-spent.
