Support Debugging Tool Build 19 Released

On the Developing for Dynamics GP blog, David Musgrave says it's that time again - time to release a new build of the Support Debugging Tool for Microsoft Dynamics GP versions 10.0, GP 2010 (v11.0) and GP 2013 (v12.0).

Build 19 improves support for Dynamics GP 2013 R2 including some fixes and enhancements to existing features. It also adds a couple of new features. Musgrave notes that Build 19 will be the last build for Microsoft Dynamics GP 10.0.

Going Beyond 5 Decimals

On her Dynamics Confessions blog, Leslie Vail says she was recently asked how to get Microsoft Dynamics GP to calculate a unit price using more than five decimals. The person was tired of constantly dealing with the few pennies of rounding differences.

Multicurrency to the rescue, she says. Since Multicurrency uses more precision when doing the translation, you can set up a new currency that will use many more decimals.
