Danish BI software maker TARGIT has a new partner agreement with Indian IT solutions firm and Microsoft Dynamics ERP and CRM reseller Emkor that includes a plan to "invest more than $1.5m in marketing TARGIT over next three years."

The deal represents the largest to date for TARGIT, says CSO Flemming Madsen, noting that it should be seen as one step in a continuous increase in investment since the beginning. "We expect that the level of spend from new partners will increase progressively over the next ten years since we are becoming more attractive to the market and know how to set goals and certain demands," he says.

Emkor CEO Vikram Dham explained that his company has increased its focus in cloud-based solutions and on Microsoft Dynamics in the Indian SMB market. They are a partner for AX and NAV, as well as CRM and Windows Azure - and this aligns well with TARGIT's new strategic focus on winning in the Dynamics AX and NAV markets.

Emkor and TARGIT reached their agreement at Convergence 2013 in New Orleans, USA this past March.

"We have given Emkor the exclusive rights to market TARGIT to the Indian market of users of [Microsoft Dynamics]. And we are talking thousands of customers in that segment in India. We expect lots of business."

Emkor will become a large distributor in the TARGIT organization, which is represented with distributors in almost 20 countries and more than 300 partners around the world.
