myERPcloud Reimagines On-Demand Dynamics ERP as Sales Accelerator

There has been plenty of discussion over the last few years about the promise of the cloud for ERP - the financial benefits, the IT opportunities, the technological innovation, the impact on resellers and consultants, and the impact on ERP users. 

But what about simply streamlining the ERP sales process?  Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online and other solutions have been using an instantly available, prospect-initiated trial for years now, but Dynamics ERP prospects have had fewer options, especially considering the added complexity for assessing ERP needs

Now, Microsoft Dynamics hosting partner RoseASP, creator of myGPCloud, is planning its rollout of the new instantly-provisioned myERPcloud service, a Dynamics ERP trial service that is geared directly toward prospects.  The hosted aspect of the service is all about the sales and evaluation process, says Linda Rose, president and CEO of RoseASP and Rose Business Solutions, not about picking the final deployment model.   

"One of the successes with myGPcloud is the procurement of a version," says Rose.  "That immediate procurement is valuable so they don't have to wait around for a sales person or a 24 hour wait, it is instantaneous and we wanted to expand that to all products as well... Whether [production] system is on premise or cloud, we don't care."

With myERPcloud, the trial is all about getting the prospect the right experience as quickly as possible - skipping the vanilla, blank slate ERP and jumping right to an integrated solution that comes closer to real business needs.  The system will launch with various industry-specific combinations of software, including Dynamics CRM and vetted ISV solutions.  For example, one version could come with an e-commerce ...
