Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online Consolidates Privacy, Security Information in Trust Center
In an effort to clarify the work it has put into meeting customers' data security and privacy needs, Microsoft Corp. has rolled out the Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online Trust Center, a marketing site that offers customers and prospects high level information about the data privacy, transparency, and security practices for the Dynamics CRM Online service.
Additionally, Dynamics CRM Online has also registered with the Cloud Security Alliance (CSA) Security, Trust & Assurance Registry (STAR) program, making Dynamics CRM Online the first cloud CRM service to provide this level of transparency, according to company officials.
Earlier this year, Microsoft said its Q2 2012 service update was scheduled to add even more compliance with more industry and geographic standards. Michalis clarified in his announcement of the delay of the service update that new customers would benefit from the latest certifications in starting in July, including STAR and ISO 27001.
"Customers have to be confident that their business solutions are meeting their high-level security features and privacy needs. The Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online Trust Center ensures transparency in how we operate Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online and handle these critical customer needs," said Dennis Michalis, general manager, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Microsoft, in a statement "Our customers need business solutions they can depend on, and the Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online Trust Center helps remove some of the anxiety they may have as they consider going to the cloud."
