Microsoft Dynamics AX Solution Architect Brandon George Founds New Services Firm IDB Solutions
If you pay attention to Dynamics AX community, you've likely come across solution architect Brandon George. He covers a variety of Dynamics AX architectural topics on his own blog, as well as writing for the Dynamics Community site and even for us from time to time. And when he's not putting in serious hours with clients, you might find him leading sessions for AXUG or Convergence.
Formerly a Sunrise Technologies employee, George struck out on his own earlier this month, forming the new AX consulting firm IDB Solutions with a partner, Michael Hyde. As chief solutions architect at IDB, George will continue his familiar role as a technical authority for Dynamics AX solutions, and he'll be adding to that business development duties, management of strategic partners, and project planning. His partner, Michael Hyde, is the technology vice president, working from the Dominican Republic and leading the company's Santo Domingo-based technical staff.
The company launched officially on March 5th, 2012 and had their real coming out party at Convergence 2012's DayOne event. We had a few questions for Brandon about his new business, his near-shoring strategy, his views on the Dynamics AX customer welfare, and how partners and customers are - or should be - realizing value today in the Dynamics AX ecosystem.
