Last Minute Convergence 2012 Advice for Microsoft Dynamics GP Attendees
A little over a year ago I suggested Five Dynamics GP tools that Microsoft should quit charging for. Now MSDynamicsWorld is reporting that Microsoft is actually planning to stop charging for one of them, the Professional Service Tools Library. Clearly people should listen to me way more than they do.
With that in mind I've got some last minute advice for attendees of Microsoft Convergence 2012. It's less than a week away and I promise not rehash all the stuff you already know. So before you head off to Convergence:
- Sign up for a Twitter account and get a basic understanding of how to use it. Trust me, it's easier to do this at home where you have your kids to help you out with the obligatory groans and eye rolls. Seriously though, Microsoft is going to be featuring Twitter a lot this year. Don't be only one trying to figure it out in the general session.
- Prepare to get a good seat at the Dynamics GP general session. This is an inside scoop. I know what's being shown in the Dynamics GP general session. You'll want to be there and you'll want to tweet stuff. Bring a towel too. You'll need it to mop up the drool.
