American Psychological Association Selects AVF Consulting to Implement Serenic Navigator

The American Psychological Association (APA) has selected Serenic Navigator financial and supply chain management software and it has selected AVF Consulting to implement the solution.

The APA needed a solution to provide both financial management software for a nonprofit association and supply chain management for their publications division, according to officials.

The organization needed a solution that included: real-time financial reporting capabilities, improved workflow, conversion to paperless processes, automated integrations between systems, better management and tracking of APA's inventory items, and connecting accounts receivable and order entry to membership management, APA officals said.

"AVF Consulting presented the exact solution we needed," said Archie Turner, CFO for APA. "Because it is fund accounting software built on the Microsoft Dynamics NAV platform, Serenic Navigator provides the complex accounting system we need with an integrated supply chain management system for managing our most important revenue generator-our publications operations."

Jerry McGlaughlin, Senior Director of IT Planning and Business Management for the APA, said Serenic enabled the company to integrate its financials and supply chain management for a single, centralized, up-to-date customer ledger and accounts receivable.
