TVH’s MCC Advanced Distribution for Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 To Be Sold in US Via New Partner Group

News Writer,

Microsoft Dynamics Partner I.B.I.S., Inc has formed a partnership with France's TVH Consulting, acquiring exclusive rights to resell TVH's MCC (Multi Channel Commerce) Advanced Distribution Solution for Distributors and Retailers software for Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 in the US.

As part of the move, a new Microsoft Dynamics partner group was brokered and will include five other Microsoft Gold Certified Partners under the Advanced Distribution Partners moniker. Collins Computing, InterDyn AKA, InterDyn BMI, Merit Solutions, Inc. and Socius will be joining TVH and I.B.I.S. in the strategic alliance, and the group will specialize in providing advanced distribution solutions.

MCC provides solutions in warehousing, supply chain management, shipping, point of service integration, marketing and a multitude of other features.

"Combined with Microsoft Dynamics AX, the MCC Advanced Distribution software contains all the functionality sophisticated distributors require," said Andy Vabulas, CEO of I.B.I.S. "This all-encompassing distribution solution reduces risk and lowers total cost of ownership for Microsoft Dynamics AX distribution clients."

I.B.I.S. began seeking partnership opportunities to bolster their business following Microsoft's introduction of a new Microsoft Partner Network strategy at the Worldwide Partner Conference in July 2009. They identified TVH as a potential candidate soon thereafter and a meeting with a representative from TVH led to the current deal. The rest of the partners were enlisted to aid in reselling the software.

TVH, founded seven years ago, generated €11 million in revenue last year - which may be an indicator of how the MCC Advanced Distribution software will fare in the U.S. market. TVH's president and chairman, Guy Tubiana, expressed a marked confidence in the effectiveness of his company's software.

"Through I.B.I.S. and the Advanced Distribution Partners, the value of a superior distribution solution will now be available in the United States," said Tubiana in a press release announcing the partnership on Jan. 21. "[MCC] Advanced Distribution for Microsoft Dynamics AX delivers the most powerful distribution capabilities from mobile sales force support to detailed demand trending, analysis and sales forecasting. We look forward to working with the Advanced Distribution Partners to help maximize the value that customers receive from their technology investments."

There was no shortage of praise for the software from Vabulas as well, who describes it as "the best distribution software I have ever seen."  He added, "One great strength is the MCC capability which allows Dynamics AX to manage customer orders from Dynamics AX Point of Sale, contact centers, mobile, web and electronic date interchange. In addition, the pricing, promotions and discounting capabilities are a distributor's dream."

Development of TVH's software was accomplished with native AX tools to attain the Certified for Microsoft Dynamics standard, a certification the product was bestowed with in November 2009. Since then, the software has thrived in the European market, selling more than 1,000 user system units. Expectations are equally high for the U.S. market, according to Vabulas.

"The product has been doing very well in Europe," he said. "TVH has also enjoyed success with its first partner, Maginus, located in the U.K. The Advanced Distribution Partner group expects this to be the leading Microsoft Dynamics AX solution for distributors sold in the U.S. This elite group has been selling distribution solutions for up to 20 years. That experience, combined with this ultra-sophisticated product, will help distributors thrive in today's business environment."

Although the agreement was a preliminary step in a greater strategic effort, with the rights to the MCC Advanced Distribution software, I.B.I.S. and the Advanced Distribution Partners have a compelling solution to offer distributors. And if their business model is indeed fruitful, "everybody wins," said Vabulas. "Clients win with a very sophisticated distribution solution at a lower total cost of ownership and a quick time to benefit; TVH goes global with their software; and the Advanced Distribution Partners deliver a repeatable world class solution and grow their businesses."
