Microsoft Readies New Strategy Sessions for US Dynamics Partners

The Microsoft Dynamics US partner group is readying its fourth annual Business Leader Roadshow, an event aimed at helping partner business owners focus on elements of their business strategy that are impacted by Microsoft as well as trends in the larger business software landscape.

The event is also an opportunity for partners to step away from the product focused events like WPC and Convergence and talk business strategy amid the latest shifts in the Microsoft and enterprise software landscape, according to Pam Kram of Microsoft's US Dynamics channel team.

"The idea is to provide an opportunity to give partners the tools and resources they need to move their businesses forward," Kram told MSDynamicsWorld.com.

Attendees can expect the 2012 event's sessions and workshops to be framed around many of the same challenges and questions that were hot topics 2011 such as the latest partner sales and certification goals and the Master VAR program. 

"This event is a really nice compliment to what happens at WPC. Because it's done regionally it's a little smaller, it has [Microsoft's] regional representatives in attendance and it is designed to help partners think through those [challenges and questions]," says Kram.  She expects partners will come to the event with serious questions around topics like how to increase customer adds, how to drive toward renewal rate targets, and even whether to join the Master VAR program.
