Keynotes Announced for Convergence 2012 in Houston

With a busy fall conference season for the Microsoft Dynamics community wrapping up, attention turns to the next big thing, Convergence 2012 in Houston.  Since the Convergence EMEA road shows of past years has been mothballed, the Houston event becomes even more singular in its importance for Microsoft and its partners in bringing customers and professionals together for a range of eagerly awaited updates on the upcoming major new releases for Dynamics GP and NAV, as well as expected updates to CRM and AX.

Microsoft has announced that the speakers at the opening keynote on March 19 from 9-10:30 a.m. (local time) will be Microsoft Chief Operating Officer Kevin Turner and President of Microsoft Business Solutions (MBS) Kirill TatarinovLast year's keynote featured Tatrinov and Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer.

Registration for Convergence 2012 is open now, with early registration running through January 25. The event kicks off on Sunday, March 18 with a volunteer project as well as the annual "DayONE" user group activities, along with a reception and expo hall hours.

Microsoft is also soliciting nominations for the Customer Excellence Awards, to be awarded at the event.  Partners use these awards as a way to showcase some of their best customers (apparently some customers with an overly bright self image ...
