Microsoft, Beringer Associates to Showcase Dynamics CRM Solution for Wholesale Distribution

Microsoft has selected Beringer Associates Inc., a gold certified Microsoft Dynamics CRM provider, as its industry partner for Wholesale Distribution.

Beringer, which has provided customer relationship management solutions to the distribution vertical for over 12 years, has created a version of Microsoft Dynamics CRM tailored specifically to the needs of distribution and supply chain businesses.

Microsoft Dynamics CRM for Wholesale Distribution gives distributors more capabilities in several critical areas; sales operations and management, targeted marketing and customer service.

"These key areas include simple objectives like having a centralized database of customer and prospect information to more complex goals such as calculating true customer profitability in real time or exposing cross selling opportunities by mining historical sales data," said David Buggy, Vice President of Beringer, in a statement.

Beringer works by creating a data conduit between Microsoft CRM and other business systems like ERP and accounting systems so data such as product/inventory, quotes, orders, invoices and customer account information can flow into the CRM system, according to company officials. Users are then able to easily access information and use it in targeted marketing, reporting/analysis and workflow processes like notifying a sales rep. when a custom gets put on credit hold.

Additionally, Beringer says it is getting ready to release a cloud-based data integration product with point and click integration between Microsoft CRM and backend ERP systems used in most distribution businesses.

Microsoft Dynamics CRM for Wholesale Distribution is available for both implementation models of Dynamics CRM, on-premise and online.
