MetraTech’s Metanga Cloud Billing to Integrate with Microsoft Dynamics CRM using Scribe Online

Agreements-based billing and compensation solutions provider MetraTech announced a new collaboration with Scribe, a global data integration provider, to connect the Metanga cloud billing application to Microsoft Dynamics CRM and other business applications via the Scribe Online integration platform. The new integration is aimed at ISVs looking to provide pre-built, cloud-based billing integration as part of their solutions.

Both the Scribe Online platform and Metanga are built on the Windows Azure platform, simplifying the implementation and maintenance of integration solutions.

The Metanga solution enables the management of customer enrollment, product catalogs, pricing, promotions, invoicing, customer self-care, and payment capture for industry verticals, including cloud, business-to-business (B2B), consumptive media, telepresence, broadband, and smart grid. It facilitates consumption-based billing for online applications that require more than simplistic recurring credit card billing.

MetraTech's collaboration with Scribe follows their announcement in February that MetraTech intended to deliver an integration between their more mature MetraNet Billing solution and Dynamics CRM 2011 by Q4 2011. At the time, MetraTech said its integration to Dynamics CRM was aimed at cutting the risk and effort involved in synchronizing the billing solution with ready-to-publish solutions built on Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 for order capture, billing provisioning and relationship management,
