Junction Solutions Launches JunctionF/B On-Demand, Based on Microsoft Dynamics AX
Chicago-based Junction Solutions, a provider of vertical, on-premise and on-demand software applications and services for the food and beverage, multi-channel retail and distribution industries, has launched a new on-demand version of one of its flagship solutions, JunctionF/B.
Created for mid and large market food and beverage and distribution companies, the new JunctionF/B On-Demand offering is a fully-hosted end-to-end solution built entirely in Microsoft Dynamics AX with extended functions to provide control and visibility over the entire food and beverage value chain, according to the company.
Both the JunctionF/B features and the Microsoft Dynamics AX environment are accessible via a web browser, PC or mobile device, according to Nicole Erickson, Junction Solutions director of marketing.
"No other software or hardware installations are required. JunctionF/B On-Demand is unique in that it offers users the ability to highly customize the extended ERP system to their individual and changing business needs, while at the same time being able to leverage the many user accessibility and financial benefits of a cloud-based solution," she said.
"The mid- and large market food and beverage arena was very much in need of a fully hosted, vertical-specific ERP solutions-set, built entirely in Microsoft Dynamics AX," Erickson added. "We actually initiated the development of JunctionF/B On-Demand at the urging of many of our existing clients, industry analysts and technology partners."
JunctionF/B customers can now select from three deployment options: on-demand, on-premise, or a hybrid, Erickson said. The hybrid model may be a fit for those clients that currently support an on-premise Dynamics AX solution and need to quickly implement individual components to address specific requirements in their business processes, she said.
