Unanet Announces Enhancements to its Microsoft Dynamics SL Integration

Unanet Technologies, a developer of services automation software that helps organizations manage people and projects for improved profitability, has announced the latest version of its integration with Microsoft Dynamics SL. The new version provides comprehensive integration between Unanet's market-leading Professional Services Automation solution and Microsoft Dynamics SL financial management system.

Version 2.2 extends the integration between Microsoft Dynamics SL and Unanet and includes the following enhancements:

  1. Resource requesting to support long term project staffing.
  2. Additional functionality for matrix organizations to provide the control they need in managing the planning and commitment of their people to projects.
  3. Control over how retroactive changes to pay rates impact or adjust extracted timesheet data.
  4. Customers can choose to use Unanet's flexible multi-level groups and processes for approval of timesheets and expense vouchers.
  5. Support for changes in SL data definitions between recent versions.

Unanet's solution provides initial opportunity planning and resource forecasting, through detailed budget planning and staff scheduling, time and expense capture, and real-time reporting.

The integration aims to proivde a single point of entry for data on projects and people with no duplication of effort, with automatic replication between Unanet and MS Dynamics SL to ensure data integrity between the systems.
