Eclipse Partners with Version One to Deliver Integrated Document Management to Microsoft Dynamics GP
Eclipse and Version One have teamed up to deliver Version One's integrated document management and imaging software to Eclipse's Microsoft Dynamics GP customers to help their financial processes run more efficiently and more economically.
The software lets Dynamics GP users electronically create, deliver, authorize, store, manage and process their financial documents.
In a statement, Gary Waylett, CEO of Eclipse said Version One's software was intuitive and easy to use. And typically customers would see a return on their investments within six months, he said.
Using Version One's software, Microsoft Dynamics GP users can automate their purchase-to-pay processes, such as imaging purchase invoices, automatically routing invoices for electronic approval and electronically delivering remittance advices, the companies said.
In addition, using Version One's optical character recognition technology users can reduce by up to 80% the amount of manual data entry of purchase invoice information they have to do, according to the companies. And they can electronically create, deliver and store invoices and statements in the archive, automating the order-to-cash cycle, company officials said.
Version One's imaging solution is just one of many options for Dynamics customers.
For example, ImageTag Inc.'s KwikTag document imaging software lets users incorporate paper and other electronic files directly into their Microsoft Dynamics ERP solution, increasing productivity and reducing the cost of processing paper, the company said. Equisys Inc. offers Zetadocs for Microsoft Dynamics GP and Dynamics NAV customers. And PaperSave's software integrates with Dynamics GP, automating the processes of imaging, approving and storing documents.
