Getting more out of the Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 Report Wizard. Having a wizard implies the user won't have to do a lot of work to generate reports, but the reality is a bit different, allows the Dynamics CRM team. It provides an excellent step-by-step on how to get more out of the wizard, "a walk through of how to build reports on processes that are being managed in CRM; reports (that) show movement through the system, not just a static view of data."

Update on Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009. In a posting by the NAV team, Dan Brown, general manager of NAV, raves about the upcoming product, "I love it! Not only does it capture the essence of NAV's core values - simplicity, ease-of-use, and flexibility, it has an elegance and beauty that is unparalleled in the industry. This is by far my favorite product to demo." And he says that NAV 2009 is still "on track to ship this fall."

Using Web services on NAV 5.0. On a separate posting, a NAV team member makes the source code available for using NAV 5.0 and earlier versions via web services. He notes that NAV 2009 will have out-of-the-box web services capabilities.
