Hints of the Future: Codename CRM 5: The proMX Microsoft Technology Blog shares its reaction to a glimpse of the next version of Microsoft Dynamics CRM, as discussed at PDC 2008 in Los Angeles: "There are some main achievements planned for the platform. E. g. that partner developed modules and features can be combined in a Solution. This Solution provides all customizations, application logic and other depending data in a simple to install package. It looks like it is even possible to protect the installed customization from export and so from further use through competitors."
