Purchasing Efficiencies with Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&SCM at Hamilton Company

Following the go-live of Microsoft Dynamics 365, complex manufacturer Hamilton Company, saw many improvements. An example of this is in automating purchasing processes. Jon Fondi, Purchasing Manager, Hamilton Company, discusses one frequent task, generating purchase orders, “It used to take us an hour or two to organize a purchase order, this will be going down to minutes. We can combine and consolidate orders for the same vendor into one purchase order. The system creates the POs for us, rather than us going in and manually generating POs and putting in part numbers,” he says. This has helped Hamilton reduce manual entry and associated errors. They found great benefit simply using D365 out-of-the-box, and didn’t have to waste time customizing and configuring purchasing processes to meet their needs.
