Danger: One of the dangers in Microsoft Dynamics 365 training is not having consistency between training materials and delivery methods across different parts of the organization. D365 implementations change almost all business processes at the same time. It is important that the concepts and processes are explained consistently across different divisions, departments, and physical locations. If learners have a different understanding of the same process, this will not only create confusion but also result in errors.
How to avoid: Avoid this danger by creating a consistent training strategy and plan that includes the entire organization that is implementing D365. Make sure training materials are created with consideration of different audiences and locations. Trainers should follow similar curriculum with consistent data, exercises, and examples. One other benefit of this is that the training materials are not duplicated, and the same trainers can be utilized throughout the entire organization.
Having online training as a resource can help to keep things consistent since all learners would be watching the same videos, reviewing the same documentation, and listening to same examples. It provides one message and one voice.
