Toshiba, Sitecore partnerships advance the Microsoft Dynamics AX retail story

It's that time again - time for Microsoft and its Dynamics partners to show their stuff at the NRF's Annual Convention & EXPO, aka Big Show 2015, the flagship event for the retail industry.

At this week's event, taking place in New York City from January 11-13, Microsoft and its partners will have a range of announcements. Among those at the top of the list for Microsoft is the availability of Sitecore Commerce powered by Microsoft Dynamics. This solution, announced last year, integrates the experience management capabilities of the new Sitecore Experience Platform with the omni-channel commerce capabilities of Microsoft Dynamics AX for Retail, according to a Microsoft spokesperson.

"This is the fruit of a year's worth of collaboration since the partnership agreement announced at last year's NRF as the companies developed the solution and co-designed its architecture to capitalize on the strengths of both products," the spokesperson said. "The result is a product that allows enterprises to bridge the gap between in-store and digital experiences."

Redmond is also announcing a combined effort between Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions and Microsoft Dynamics that will integrate Toshiba's TCxGravity point of commerce solution with Dynamics.
