Thumbs Up for Microsoft-Produced Video on Dynamics NAV 6.0

Microsoft has created a video highlighting the features of Dynamics NAV 6.0, and it's receiving high marks from professionals.

The video is narrated by Darren Laybourn, general manager of Dynamics NAV Development. It includes segments on installation, the "Role Tailored user experience," finding the right record to work with, Task Pages, order entry, personalization capabilities, web services, and how NAV integrates with Microsoft Sharepoint. It can be downloaded from the MIBUSO site.

The NAV blogger Gaspode calls the video "stunning...amazing stuff."

The web service demo "is so incredible...It seems to have everything we could want."

And on the Sharepoint integration, "Wow again! This is just astounding. I am running out of superlatives."

The video gets four of five stars at MIBUSO from 14 reviewers. One reviewer says that while installation of RoleTailored client takes only 45 seconds, "They don't show that it'll take longer to implement a change, to upgrade, to make a modification to forms."
