Two upcoming Microsoft community events, Community Summit Europe and extreme365, have been postponed due to the impact of novel Coronavirus. The dates will change from March 9-12 to June 29-July 2.

The venue will still be Fira Barcelona, according to an announcement on the event web sites.

Here's the full statement posted on the event site:

The health and safety of our community members is of utmost importance to us. Out of an abundance of caution for impact of the novel Coronavirus, we have made the decision to reschedule Community Summit Europe and extreme365 events that were previously scheduled for March 9-12, 2020 in Barcelona. We invite you to join us for the new dates in June 29 - July 2nd, 2020 at the Fira Barcelona.

MSDW is a media sponsor of the events.

These are just the latest in-person conferences to alter their plans as more people contract Coronavirus around the world. Microsoft recently announced its plans to withdraw from Game Developers Conference 2020 starting on March 16. One of the first big conference disruptions related to Coronavirus was the cancellation of Mobile World Congress in February, which was slated to run at the same Fira Barcelona facility but saw some of its biggest sponsors pull out.

Another notable Microsoft Dynamics and Power Platform event, Scottish Summit, which is expecting over 900 attendees  on Saturday, February 29, appears to still be running as planned in Glasgow.
