Softtrends releases iPhone Client Mobile CRM+ for Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online

Softtrends, an Atlanta, Georgia-based provider of mobile software products has unveiled an iPhone Client specifically for Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online.

Mobile CRM+ extends Dynamics CRM to iPhone and iPad devices through a rich user interface, CRM information access, and CRM intelligence gathering tools, according to the company.

Recently Canadian firm TenDigits Software Inc. and Netherlands-based Numenes, also announced newly updated smartphone clients for Dynamics CRM.

Mobile CRM+ takes advantage of iPhone hardware and device applications to provide a host of enhanced features in addition to the user interface for browsing, viewing, searching, creating, editing, assigning, and deleting entities and entity relayed Activities, Opportunities and Service activities offline and online, according to company officials.

Mobile CRM+ enables phone calls to CRM Contacts or related entities, records meetings with CRM Contacts and tracks them in the CRM server as Appointment activities. It also syncs CRM contacts with the device's address book, sends e-mails to CRM contacts, and creates entity notes with audio, company officials said.

Mobile CRM+ also supports the offline mode and can store large amounts of data for use offline, the company said. When the application is set to offline, or there is no network connection, a user can still view all the cached data on the device, as well as enter new data that will be stored locally. The updated data is synced to the server when the application is set back to the online mode or the network connection becomes available, according to company officials.
