Schlumberger deploys its Petrotechnical Suite and DrillPlan on Azure

Major oil field services provider and software vendor Schlumberger announced a new technology partnership with Microsoft, timed with the SIS Global Forum 2019 in Monaco. Schlumberger's Petrotechnical Suite, hosted within its DELFI environment is being deployed in Azure, while its DrillPlan well construction planning solution is becoming available in Azure Stack. With Azure customers will be able to scale for different workloads and run high performance computing for the ECLIPSE and INTERSECT reservoir simulators.
