SAP and Microsoft announced plans to integrate Teams with SAP's suite of solutions. The initiative comes as part of a broader effort to boost adoption of SAP S/4HANA on Azure and a joint commitment by the two companies to reduce barriers on the customer journey.

The two companies promised co-investment around S/4HANA, digital enterprise roadmaps with partners and resellers, as well as expanded investments in platform and infrastructure. The expansion of support around Teams comes about in-part as a result of the disruptions brought on by the pandemic. Integrations are set for delivery mid-2021.
