Sabrix, Inc., a leading provider of transaction tax management for companies of all sizes, and Binary Stream, a leading provider of Microsoft Dynamics GP solutions, have announced the first outsourced sales and use tax solution for companies managing multiple entities and locations.

As part of its announcement, Sabrix said that American Software, a developer of integrated business applications, has been using the new solution to manage its complex, multi-location sales and use tax operations, and experienced "significant savings" over a five-year period.

The joint solution - which combines Sabrix MTS, an outsourced sales and use tax service, and Binary Stream's Multi-Facility Processing add on for Microsoft Dynamics GP - enables companies to automate the complex tax determination and calculation inherent in running a multi-location operation, according to Sabrix. Key benefits, Sabrix added, include streamlined reporting, significantly reduced exposure and costs of audits, and the ability to redeploy staff on other strategic initiatives.

"We tried to address the tax complexities of running a multi-location business with other tax vendors, but only Sabrix was able to deliver the technology and tax expertise that we needed," said Herman Moncrief, corporate controller of American Software. "The integration between the two systems was seamless and was one of the easiest we've experienced."
