RoseASP Launches myGPcloud Hosted Microsoft Dynamics GP with Rapid Self-Service Provisioning

RoseASP has launched myGPcloud, an on-demand Microsoft Dynamics GP solution available with rapid cloud provisioning.

The myGPcloud service includes a standard Dynamics GP deployment, as well as automated on-line provisioning, training videos and guides, template setup and technical support, and available integration to business portal, SharePoint, and CRM systems, according to Linda Rose, president of RoseASP

myGPcloud allows customers to gain flexibility in the infrastructure component of the cloud and avoid having to procure and manage hardware resources, Rose said. With other hosted solutions like NetSuite and others in the space as well as with other Dynamics solutions, customers have to go through an initial sales pitch to get a demo database to even try out.

"Then you have to wait for the sales person to put it together for you, so there can be some turnaround time on that," she said. "Whereas here, you find it, you see it, you like it, you try it, you use it."

There is growing acknowledgement among Dynamics ERP professionals that they need to go to customers with a hosted option. The Microsoft Dynamics GP team has even announced the publication of a new guide to help partners support hosted solutions.  

And RoseASP has findings of its own: in a survey of 1,600 Microsoft Dynamics partners, RoseASP found that 80% of respondents were competing with hosted or software-as-a-service solutions from other companies. To address that fact, Rose said her company made myGPcloud service available to Microsoft partners and independent software vendors seeking a cloud-computing, on-demand offering that is fast and affordable to the mid-market. She said partners will receive ongoing software revenue and can bundle ...
