The Road that Leads to Convergence 2012

There is just a day to go before the first pre-Convergence 2012 events kick off for Microsoft Dynamics partners and customers.  As the community gets ready to dive into the fray, it is worth looking back at the events and announcements of recent months that will likely impact Microsoft's product positioning as well as the attendee perceptions during the event.  It's also fun to offer a few last-minute educated guesses about the developments that could generate the most interest among over the next five days.

The Event Before the Event: PreGame and DayOne

Dynamics partners and users can get their Microsoft fix started on Saturday with their respective pre-event events - PreGame sessions for AX, GP, and CRM on Saturday for partners and Sunday's DayOne festivities for AX, CRM, GP, and NAV users. 

All these pre-events are run by their respective Dynamic Communities user groups with involvement from Microsoft, who will be sending product and partner channel managers to present.  These UG events have grown over the past few years to serve as one of Convergence's best pre-event networking opportunities and an excellent way for attendees to start priming the pump for the main event with both the big topics like details on upcoming product releases but also a chance to discuss a range of more ...
