Notable Outcomes
After all the planning, preparation, testing, execution and troubleshooting, what did our client get out of the deal? In the end, did all this effort amount to measurable results? By taking careful baseline measurements of key processes and observations of the overall situation in the client's accounting department, we were able to reveal some clear benefits of the migrated private hosted solution.
Some of the most beneficial results for our client included:
- Contrasting base monthly contract services, the client calculated a savings of $235,000 - 48% less than their 2010 costs.
- The client's accounting department reduced their monthly closing time by 1 day.
- The SQL server upgraded to a 64-bit SQL Server 2008 significantly enabled our client to upgrade many of their core Microsoft products including Management Reporter. The Exchange upgrade to 2010 is pending which, along with two dozen mobile device upgrades, will substantially improve corporate communications.
