Resco Launches Offline Sync, GPS Tracking for Latest Microsoft Dynamics CRM Mobile Client

Microsoft Dynamics CRM mobile software solution provider Resco has announced it is now offering a hybrid solution that provides multiple modes of online and offline access to Dynamics CRM, according to company officials.

In online mode, the user works with live data sent to and from Dynamics CRM.  Connectivity can be further refined based on WiFi-only mode or manual control. In offline mode, the app works with the same features against a secure, local database and synchronizes with the CRM server. When the mobile device is once again connected to the internet, Resco Mobile CRM synchronizes its local database in the background so as not to interrupt the users work, officials said.  

Resco has also added GPS Tracking to the solution. According to the company, a manager or user with corresponding permissions can set which activities and actions should be tracked using the Mobile CRM client. For example, when a salesperson makes a call at point X, creates a new order at point Y, and updates an opportunity at point Z, all these activities will be tracked, officials said. At the end of the day, the manager will have a complete graphical representation of the salesman's route pinpointing everything he has done during the day, officials said.

Resco launched an updated version of Resco MobileCRM 2012 Productivity Update last November. The new version of MobileCRM Productivity Update offered new features to boost mobile users' productivity in their daily routines, according to the company.
