QBS Group Taps Former Microsoft Dynamics Exec as Chief Commercial Officer

Netherlands-based QBS Group has appointed Michael Hartmann as its chief commercial officer effective October 1.

QBS Group is an SMB Distributor for Microsoft Dynamics that currently supports more than 350 partners in 15 countries. QBS supports partners - resellers and ISVs - with services aimed at increasing sales, reducing costs and improving profitability.

Hartmann has had extensive experience in the ICT (information and communications technology) sector and has had several leading management positions at Microsoft over he past 21 years, according to officials.

Before joining QBS, Hartmann was Microsoft's worldwide lead for Dynamics SMB partners. In this role, his objective was to double the channel sales capacity for Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online in the SMB market, activate the commercial distribution and indirect CSP (cloud solution provider) channel for business applications and build the Dynamics SMB teams, officials stated.

"Michael's primary responsibilities as chief commercial officer will be to further grow both our QBS activities into new countries and additional workloads in existing and new countries (our SMB distributor role) and our OneBizz activities (finding more resellers in existing and new countries)," said QBS co-founder Guus Krabbenborg in a statement.

In the coming years, QBS expects continued growth, both in the number of partners and number of countries, and in its services portfolio-Dynamics CRM, Office 365 and Dynamics 365 in addition to Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Dynamics GP, according to Krabbenborg.
