Pure Storage and Microsoft apply Azure to semiconductor design

Pure Storage, a storage-as-a-service provider announced a partnership with Microsoft to use Azure for semiconductor chip design.

Working with FlashBlade at Equinix and Microsoft, the new engineering design and automation (EDA) workload will run as a data layer matched with high-performance computing workloads in the cloud.
