Olive-3 Technologies Announce On-Demand Editions of Manufacturing Management Solutions

On September 20, Olive-3 Technologies will be releasing a suite of cloud-based, on-demand editions of webOps TMM powered by Microsoft Dynamics AX to help companies manage and maintain their assets-from requisition to disposition-in the cloud

The offerings, which are all developed in Dynamics AX, are designed to help mid-size manufacturers maximize the return on investments of their assets by optimizing the management and maintenance of those assets, said Ali Aksut, President and Founder of Olive-3 Technologies, a provider of provider of on-demand and on-premise operations management solutions to manufacturers and distributors.

"This is the next step in our product road-map to offer ‘easy-to-use' and ‘affordable' manufacturing solutions, whether they are delivered on-premise or on-demand," said Aksut, adding that his company is partnering with three AX hosting partners who are hosting the solutions including SaaSPlaza and Data Resolution.

Aksut said even small- to mid-size manufacturers still need to have systems in place to manage their assets so they can see how individual assets are performing and determine whether to add assets or dispose of existing assets. Enterprise asset management is more suitable for on-demand environments because the data is not as sensitive as customer data or accounts receivable or accounts payable data, he added.

"But there are not very many options for them in the marketplace. So they have to go with these very highly customized, small maintenance management packages," he said. "But those don't really deliver a lot of functionality except around preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance. And those companies need to get the most ROI out of their assets and make them more available to get higher ...
