Njevity’s hosted Dynamics GP web client adds capabilities to reduce Remote Desktop needs

Microsoft partner Njevity Inc. is preparing to launch its new, "zero-Remote-Desktop" hosted Microsoft Dynamics GP solution.

Based on the Dynamics GP web client, Njevity's version of the web client enhances the company's hosted GP offerings by eliminating the need for Remote Desktop and streamlining the web client onboarding. It also adds third party browser-friendly financial reporting, and gives resellers white labelling capabilities.

"What we have done is we have taken the Microsoft Dynamics GP web client and we've made it available through our cloud so it's very easy to add a new tenant to it and bring up a new customer on it," says Chris Dobkins, Njevity's president.. "You don't have to set up all the front-end servers and session host servers for every new customer you sign up because we have all that infrastructure already built. So that makes it really easy to onboard a new customer into the GP web client."

Njevity is offering the solution to partners to resell to their customers in a white-label capacity. Dobkins said partners can put their own URLs on top of Njevity's infrastructure so their customers can get to the Dynamics GP web client directly through partners' URLs. Njevity also sells directly to customers but only in Colorado, the company's home state.

"We've brought in some other ISV solutions into our solution set," he said. "For example, Management Reporter and Integration Manager do not work without Remote Desktop, so we've replaced Management Reporter and Integration Manager with other solutions that work over the Internet."

Dobkins said NjevityToGo has a financial reporting solution that is very similar to Management Reporter but is all browser-based.
