The conference schedule for the Microsoft Dynamics ecosystem continued to churn this week.

Microsoft announced the decision to make Ignite 2020, its annual event for technical professionals,  digital. It had been set for September 2020. The message on the Ignite web site stated:

The safety of our community is top priority. In light of global health concerns due to COVID-19, we will deliver our annual Microsoft Ignite conference as a digital experience, in lieu of an in-person event.

We look forward to bringing together our community to learn innovative ways to build solutions, migrate and manage your infrastructure, and connect with Microsoft experts and other technology professionals from around the globe. Stay tuned for more details to come.

And the organizing board of Directions North America, the annual Dynamics SMB partner channel event, announced this week they have rescheduled from May to December.

The Directions North America organizing board explained in an email update that the new date allows them to maintain their registrants and sponsors. They will re-open registration for new attendees on July 31. This year's event is set to be the biggest yet in terms of attendance, they stated.
