Microsoft has confirmed that US-based Dynamics reselling partner Tribridge will be the third Master VAR in the new program that recently rolled out in the US.  Dynamics reselling partners Socius and SBS Group had previously been identified and are already actively building their networks of sales affiliates.

According to Jeff Edwards, director of channel strategy for Microsoft Business Solutions, Tribridge was a good fit for the program due to its track record in partnering with smaller Dynamics partner organizations.  He wrote on the Dynamics Partner community blog:

"But what truly separates these partners from a very competitive group of applicants to this program is their ability - and desire - to deliver value to their Sales Affiliates. This gives us confidence that they have what it takes to create win-win relationships within the Microsoft Dynamics ERP channel."

In the blog post, Edwards tried to address some of the concerns floating around the partner channel about the program.  "No partners will be forced to participate in the Master VAR program. The Master VAR program was introduced to provide greater choice for our Microsoft Dynamics ERP partners. We will continue to do everything we can to support partners focused on growth, whether they want to grow organically or explore an alternative option such as affiliation with a Master VAR."

Edwards also notes that there will be a webcast on Friday, Nov 18 for partners to hear ...
