How to validate a Power Apps form before submission
Writing on his blog, Matthew Devaney stated that you can validate a Power Apps form before submission to ensure the data isn't saved until all the criteria are met. For example, Devaney wrote that a text input might be required to have a value, and you might have to enter dates within a specific range. He noted that maybe you might have to enter a number in a specific format.
Devaney added that If the data validation doesn’t pass for any field, it should appear in an error state with an error message describing how to fix the issue. In his blog post, Devaney offered a real-world scenario with screenshots to explain how to validate a Power Apps form before submission.
Overcome disabled Power Apps co-owner sharing with AD group
On the Let's Power Automate blog, Tom Riha answered this question: "I'm trying to add AD group as co-owner in Power Apps, but the checkbox is disabled, what can I do about it?"
Riha wrote that when you manage access in a Microsoft environment, you might want to use Activity Directory (AD) groups rather than specific users.
He pointed out that while users can join or leave your organization and it's hard to keep track of the individual permissions, M365 groups will stay. Riha noted that the same principle also applies to Power Apps ownership. However, he wrote that rather than keeping application ownership on specific users, you might want to co-own them with a group.
But that works only if it’s a separate application. Once you add it into a solution, and you should add it into a solution, such option will be disabled.
Riha then asked: How do you then share the app with the group?
