Microsoft plans new Business Applications Summit in July

Microsoft has announced plans for a new annual conference focused on Dynamics 365, PowerApps, Power BI, and related applications, aimed at users, customers and partners. The first Microsoft Business Applications Summit will kick off on July 22, 2018 in Seattle, according to Microsoft CVP James Phillips, writing in a new blog post.

The decisions to launch Business Applications Summit is a response to community demand, according to Phillips. "We've heard loud and clear your desire to come together on an annual basis - to share, to learn, and to be the first to know where we're going and what's coming next across this expansive collection of products and services," he writes.

Remembering Convergence

Convergence was a fantastic event in which thousands of Dynamics customers and partners met to improve knowledge, share opinions, and learn from Microsoft and others the future of the Dynamics world.

In other words Convergence helped strengthen and expand the Dynamics community.

Will Business Application Summit be the long awaited replacement of Convergence?
